Melody makes such a good horizontal that there was really a big question mark as to which way it should be on the site. Many of my flow paintings with stripes go both ways.  I sign them on the back and then wait until they are purchased to sign the front if desired. Melody is like raw silk with little random swirl dots that are part of the beauty. This detail can be seen in the middle section on the digital but they are uniformly dispersed over the painting. They were added by a tiny spray of turpentine near the end of the painting process. A nice painting for a modern setting.
